A prominent national environmental group named the Blackwater River one of the 10 most endangered rivers in America, citing concerns that Corridor H construction could release pollution from abandoned coal mines into the waterway.

It’s the first time the Blackwater has appeared on the annual list of “America’s Most Endangered Rivers…
